singer-songwriter Jamie Notarthomas will celebrate the music of Bob Dylan in recognition
of Dylan's 67th Birthday. Notarthomas has opened for dozens of famous acts
including Rick Danko and also Dylan in 1990 at
Jamie will
perform a non-stop musical marathon taking requests throughout the evening as
he has done once a year for 16 years straight in his hometown of Syracuse and
also in Buffalo. He will be joined by some other musicians, including the
outstanding harmonica player Curtis Waterman, who recently moved from the
Notarthomas says that "Every year is like taking a vacation from myself and my own music to come out of it recharged for another busy season. Like many fans I started out pulling that curious thread to figure out Dylan and discovered there is no end to it; whether it is the civil rights anti-war folk music, the romantic balladeer poet, the prophetic and gospel side to the abstract beat era and back to good old Rock n Roll and blues. This indefinable and influential artist will be well represented with a show that Dylan fans won't want to miss!
